Big Ten Basketball 2020-21 Discussion (Part 1)

Did anyone catch why he got T’d up? Must’ve said the magic word.

I turned on the game seconds after that Jacob Young T. Replay showed one comment towards the ref and a smile. Beilein somewhere shaking his head muttering “you’re emotionally drunk”

Young is definitely on the All Big Ten talker team. Him and Zavier went at it all game last year at the Garden.

The RAC hasn’t been so scary without fans

The Gophers would be a better team playing thru the post more often. Robbins is just scratching the surface on his potential.

Trent Frazier has to be on that team.

Minnesota just used 3 timeouts in one possession. Double teaming the ball is apparently something impossible to solve

He was absolutely not even going to think about passing the ball the last 40 seconds

If Marcus Carr is 1st team all-B1G then this conference is really over-rated

Tough way to lose Rutgers -5 there.

Thankfully media and coach voting of all conference teams has little bearing on the strength of a conference

I know, that’s just a disgusting way to lose a basketball game. 2 years of Marcus Carr heroball while having elite scoring bigs.

Who would you have as a first team all-B1G guard besides Ayo?

Honestly, I don’t follow the rest of the B1G as closely. We really are a great “team-first” conference with great coaches. Without looking at numbers, would have to say Trice @ PG. Which seems like an underwhelming choice after seeing him at Crisler. But he runs the offense, carries alot of the scoring load, and D’s up the other team’s best guard. And seems like a really efficient scorer.

I’ll take our backcourt any day of the week in league play.

I don’t think they necessarily peaked to early. For pretty much 3 of those games they were without Fredrick. They’re a different team without him but they’re finding different guys now chipping in Nunge/Murray, Touissaint had a good game here or there. They won’t win the B1G most likely but I still think they’re the most dangerous team that can make noise in the tournament.

Really hard to win in the tournament when you are completely incapable of playing even decent defense. Fredrick is not going to help with that. Give OSU credit for knocking down the shots but my goodness it seemed like every single look they had was wide open.
