Big Ten Basketball 2020-21 Discussion (Part 1)

Maybe there’s a good book he could read?

I was impressed by OSU and mentioned it a week ago? A few weeks ago? No concept of time, anymore. I think they’re kind of good :grimacing:

Also mentioned that leaving Ahrens open at the 3pt line was a stupid way to lose… that Iowa D was just wow. Franuary in full effect and thirty seconds just to foul a 90% ft shooter was peak Iowa.

I think OSU is going to win the B1G. In fact I’m sure of it

Well, its now February so this is typical Iowa. Should have an epic Fran meltdown sometime in the next 10 days.

Still breathing, but running out of sarcastic pro-Iowa jabs. Sticking with the CJ Fredrick excuse for now, but willing to admit this team won’t win the league after this loss. Standing by that they are miles better than those Badger frauds.

mini-civil war brewing amongst Iowa fans on reddit. Oh Shit It’s Franbruary vs. Stop Calling It Franbruary We’re Fine

Who does everyone else like to finish second in the big ten now if not OSU? Iowa is in a tailspin, Illinois has a hard schedule-currently senior night at both Wisconsin and OSU, Wisconsin has 6 ranked games left.

I’m probably just traumatized from football but I think OSU gets hot ala Wisconsin last year and makes a serious run down the stretch.

I’m fine with Flo and Jamie, but this guy who holds the signs and his father are off-putting. Probably just irritable because of how bad these players are making Richard look. Think I need a wine.

Iowa down to 135 in Adj D and 1.09 ppp allowed in Big Ten games (11th).

I think Illinois is the 2nd best team, going with them.

gimmick aside, I do fear OSU winning at least a share. I honestly would have strongly preferred Iowa squeak this one out. Let Franbruary start next week.

My thoughts exactly

Know we had the discussion about Chris Holtmann and long-term prognosis at OSU and I was not alone to say I was a little unsure. Have to say…dude can obviously coach. I still don’t like this roster and the pieces don’t seem to fit but he is squeezing every ounce out of them at this point. To have this team in the discussion of the top 2/3 in this league is very impressive.

My silly conspiracy theory is that we could all have really inexpensive insurance except that every insurance company insists on flooding our TVs with expensive adds constantly. I think 30% of all commercials are for insurance!!

How many people even change their insurance? Am I really going to bounce around from State Farm to Liberty Mutual to Progressive to Geiko to Prudential to one of the armed services insurance companies I am not even eligible for??

Particularly vis a vis Meechie Johnson. 17 years old, midseason enrollee, and somehow already playable.

He should write the forward for Fran’s next book on defense.

Jacob Young has gradually been working back to disaster factory after a decent start to the season. 3 of last 4 games with O rating below 100 and 4 turnovers in first half tonight not so hot.
