She’s had major knee issues in the past right?
It looks like she’s had issues with her right knee in the past. This was her left knee.
The positives were that Naz dominated again, with 30 points and 15 rebounds. One of my favorite things she did happened late in the game. IUPUI’s big was posting her up and Naz did the classic Rick Mahorn “Pull the Chair” move, which caused the big to tumble to the floor and get called for a travel.
The two freshman guards maybe got thrust into action quicker than expected. They had some turnover issues but still both looked really good. Especially defensively.
Good news x 2:
-
Michigan beat UMass Lowell tonight by 19 points.
-
More importantly, Amy Dilk was walking without crutches!
Photos from tonight:
Amy Dilk without crutches is great news!
Amy Dilk had a little workout before tonight’s game, but didn’t dress. Seems the recovery is going well and the injury isn’t as bad as it first appeared.
Tonight was a comfortable win that got a little uncomfortable in the 4th. However, Michigan made the plays down the stretch to eventually win by 11.

Big win over a ranked team (Oregon State) last night, and playing for the tournament championship today. Looks like Leigha Brown came back on limited minutes, and bringing Naz off the bench seems to be an official thing?
Wait they bring Naz off the bench???
Just the last two (Maybe three? I didn’t watch the CMU game) games. I’m not sure why.
Yeah last three
She played 36 minutes so I’m not sure it has anything to do with performance, just rotations
Naz had been sick.
Sure but I imagine illness isn’t the issue now if she played 38 minutes.
KBA notched win #200 yesterday against Mississippi State. Leigha Brown has returned from injury and is playing well. They are going to be really good when everyone is healthy.
Watching the women play Lousiville. Lack of athleticism and skill in the backcourt is stunning to watch. Need Dilk back bad.
I haven’t seen them play this year but this is starting to remind me of lady night’s game for the men…not good.
This is ugly. They have 9 points with 5 minutes remaining in the half. 25-2 run for Louisville… Not good
I had to turn it off. Louisville’s defense is very good, but the passes we are making are just awful.
It does feel like watching the men a little bit. Just can’t get the ball to Hillmon and Brown in good spots.
It was just not their night.
The one upside about Dilk being out is that the freshman are getting valuable minutes. This should pay off down the road.
Michigan beat Minnesota today, 73-61. I believe Minnesota led by as much as 7 in the 3rd quarter but Michigan turned up the defense and flipped the script.
