Michigan Women's Hoops

16-38 at the line and win by 5 on the road against a top-25 Torvik team. Wild one.

What was Michigan’s offensive rebound percentage? Even on missed FT’s, it seems like they got more than 50% of them.

My lucky Michigan basketball shorts remain undefeated!

Next up is at Washington on Thursday. They’re 9-0 at home. I hope the FT thing doesn’t carry over. No Nick Anderson-syndrome!

Second half and OT were brutal to watch, but credit the women for finding a way to beat a good team on the road despite foul trouble, poor 3-point shooting, and some extremely uncharacteristically bad free throw shooting across the board.

Simply because I hate it, I blame Oregon’s abomination of a floor for the terrible shooting.

Regardless, big road win. The conference is loaded, so any road wins — especially out west — are a take-them-however-you-can-get-them kind of thing.

Really hard to win when you miss that many free throws. Bad shooting night all around.

A 60-34 rebounding advantage (28 offensive) saved the day!

Sure the second half and OT were pretty terrible - but man, that was an exciting game!

I wish I could hear what KBA’s remarks were to the team after last night’s game. I know what I would have said.

Jeez- one point in almost 6 1/2 minutes? I guess they were waiting for BTN to switch over.

4-0 run since being on air! Just down 8-5.

8-0 run and we’re leading!

Mila’s proclivity for foul trouble is something I’d like to see go away.

Former Wolverine Yulia is out there for Washington.

Down 2 after 1. We’re 5-7 from the line, so that’s somewhat encouraging.
