New England’s top college prospect
It’s funny how top heavy the women’s game still is (and partly a reason why, despite thinking we’re quite good, we’re going to get smeared by UConn)…USC was #10 on Torvik (now 11), and hosting #2 South Carolinia, and Torvik had it as a 90% South Carolina win by double digits (they won by 17)
It’s getting better each season, but the gap between the elites and the next tier is still wide. If Michigan can keep it within a reasonable margin like they did against South Carolina, they could be making a deep run in the NCAA.
We will probably lose to UConn but we did hang with South Carolina until the end of the game last year (We led at the half and were down 2 with 22 seconds to go in the game) and that was the first college action for all of our (then) freshmen. It will certainly be a good measuring stick.
It would be really fun for them to get to host a couple tournament games. Certainly on the right track for that.
It was great in ‘22.
It looks like she has two younger sisters, one who looks fairly tall already. I’m still hoping for a Wagner-like pipeline to happen again.

For sure, a blowout win over ND is eye opening. They just need to be in the top 3 in the B1G. It’s a tough conference, but Michigan is good enough to compete for the title.
Highlights
Ayo chose Michigan over South Carolina, Stanford, and Miami, so we beat a couple of Blue Bloods.
Putting hoops aside, Ayo is a great person and very mature. Very impressive. Easy to see why she chose Michigan.
There are crimes happening in Ann Arbor right now. My word.
Not sure Binghamton has the horses for this one, but will reserve judgement
The Michigan women are a juggernaut
it’s 88-26 after 3 lol
Damn they almost doubled their total in the 4th.
The gap between the top 10 teams and mid-majors has always been wide in Women’s Basketball. The talent disparity was glaring.
