Dang, i thought she made nice progress and would be a decent back up for next season. She must have wanted a starting guarantee or something. SMH.
That’s a weird one. It seemed like there was a path to starting or at least a sure path to increased minutes.

Yeah, but then Chyra Evans was a holy lock to be the starting 5 this year and peaced, so…who ever knows anymore.

It’s strange because KBA has been pretty big friendly. Hallie Thome, Naz, Emily Kiser all did well and got the ball a lot.

I think it was a photo of Macy Brown and Will Tschetter hanging out, so maybe an anti-transfer sign?

This has to be an NIL thing, right? Or she’s going to get poached by one of the very top teams in hopes of getting a title? I mean, it’s not like OSU is a program that can’t complete for Final Fours or more.
But McMahon is a bona fide star in an extremely good program.
I have no inside info but I’m going to guess LSU, just because.

If I were her, as the only center shaped person on the roster, I’d have expected to start this year, but we opted to play a 5th year guard at center rather than her (I not remotely suggesting this was the wrong decision, but that’s sort of the point!)
I think “portal big” was on every single person’s mind in terms of off-season priorities, right? Who here thought KBA was going to sit on her hands and just say “ok, Yulia is the starting center”?
Yulia didn’t start at Middle Tennessee State so I can’t think that she expected to be an automatic starter here.
A few days later and we’re still at only one player in the portal. I’m hoping that remains the case.
Surprised Macy Brown didn’t enter the portal because she got squeezed out of the rotation and both of her sisters transferred from the original schools.
