Michigan Women's Hoops

It was 15-0 before we scored and Swords just picked up her 3rd foul. Lots of time to go, though.

What a dreadful 3rd quarter and terrible turnovers.

Down 15, heading to the 4th. Olson is warming up a little (7 points in the quarter) but nothing else is going right. MSU didn’t turn the ball over once and we gave it up 6 times.

Not a good last 18 hours for Michigan Basketball.

and this one is at home

Looks like a replay from last night. Same passing skill and defensive effort.

59-25 in the second half

Arico making no eye contact with Fralick.

I only got to watch the first half and…that’s the only half that exists in my head canon. Yikes.

I wish we had a coach like fralick.

There he is!

I’ve literally been waiting for this post since the end of the third quarter

Msu deflated this team. They’re done.

Wisconsin got a lot of home cooking refs.

Michigan just had no answer for Wisconsin’s post size down the stretch.

I only got to watch the second half and noticed that Greta did not play much at all. Was that a factor of foul trouble, the size disadvantage, or something else?

Rough to not be able to steal that one. That’s a conference road game you have to be able to notch – especially with Olson putting up 30. Obviously doesn’t help that Wisconsin shot just under 50% from 3 and hit 85% of their 21 free throw attempts.

It’s tough when Michigan is undersized and has had a mass exodus in the frontcourt. Replenishing the frontcourt has to be a priority for the KBA for next season.

I could see swords and Olson getting pluck after season unless we make a change.

dude. relax

if they get plucked it has nothing to do with KBA and everything to do with Michigan lagging behind women’s sports NIL(I have no idea if this is a real thing)

wouldn’t they be more likely to leave if the coach they committed to is fired during a season they made the tournament while starting and carrying massive roles?

ugh why am I even responding???

We’re up 38-24 at the half over the Ducks!
Points leaders:
Holloway 10
Olson 8
Hobbs 7
Swords 6

I would just return to Olivia Olsen’s public interview regarding why she is at Michigan (and recruited Swords) and conclude that these are two people that chose Michigan for a very specific reason (they wanted to turn it to a basketball power together)

(I know I’m responding to you, not the troll)

Also - I am shocked that a team powered by three freshmen in a sport with no early entry departures and one final class of fifth year seniors is inconsistent!
