I finally found a site that has some tracking of women’s hoops recruting:

This includes a note that the Davis twins had committed to MSU but both decommitted. Nice!

Wow! This is a great find! Bookmarked it already. :blue_heart:

I really thought Stuck was a year younger!

So what do we see as the rotation? There’s so much depth!

Just to group our players into roles:

Bigs: Cameron Williams, Taylor Williams, Chyra Evans, Whitney Sollum

Wings (I’m using this to describe non-bigs who aren’t going to play with the ball in their hands): Elissa Brett, Lauren Hansen, Alyssa Crockett, Elise Stuck, Jordan Hobbs

Ball Handlers: Laila Phelia, Greta Kampschroeder, seems like both Macy Brown and Katy Eidle profile here?

I’m having a hard time figuring out what Taylor Woodson is?

KBA likes playing 2 bigs, so my guess is we start Cameron and Taylor Williams (depth in womens hoops isn’t what it is in men’s baskeball, so I have some hesitancy in projecting a good MAC player here, and Evans got minutes here last year, so I could see her. Either way, the one that doesn’t start is probably the first big off the bench

I think Lauren Hansen is very clearly a Maddie Nolan replacement - good three point shooter, averaged 12 ppg in the SEC.

Phelia, obviously.

My FEELING is that Greta gets the nod as the last starter just to get a real PG on the floor, but her play last year sort of leaves the door open.

It just seems like Macy Brown has to play, I’d guess she’s the third guard. You have whoever loses the Evans/Taylor Williams battle as your third big.

You can copy my Taylor Williams skepticism for Elissa Brett - another good MAC player, assume she begins as depth at the wing, but her 3 point volume (7.5 last year!) sort of screams she needs to play on this roster. I assume Hobbs will play, because she always does, gives a stretch-four-ish look.

So my guess:

Kampschroeder
Phelia
Hansen
Taylor Williams
Cameron Williams

Brown, Evans, Hobbs, Brett

This leaves very possible contributors like Crockett, Stuck, and two of the three freshmen starting outside.

I missed (or forgot) that Kate Clark hit the portal.

I think Hobbs will be this year’s breakout player. And as part of that, she’ll be the second leading scorer.

That is a TAKE

Love it

My guess is that Hansen is your second leading scorer

My friend is a professor at Missouri and watched them a decent amount, it sounds like she is going from being asked to do a lot (too much) and will have a more streamlined role (scoring, less on the ball)

Should get a commit this weekend from someone not listed.

Would that be this familiar name? If so, I wish her brother was also joining her in Ann Arbor!

I guess I did forget about the Clarke transfer.

Since there’s no college thread for the girls. Kim Mulkey 32 mil for 10 years. Praise the lord!!!

Highly rated or diamond in the rough?

Not sure.
Mila is someone that worked her way to an offer during a time that UM was getting serious interest from others.
Also been offered by some other power 5 programs.
Don’t follow women’s recruiting enough to speak on her standing but I’m close to the one for personal reasons.

During the visit “ She was in the committed group, the players group that had a meeting with. “

I expect there will be an announcement soon.
Actually it sounds like there was an additional commit.

Excellent! Thanks for giving us the heads up and keeping us posted.

Aaiyanna Dunbar commitment just announced on another site.

6’2 C/F from Murfreesboro, TN

As Dot said, sounds like a second announcement may be forthcoming soon, too.
