also, i mean, emoni scored 30 on 19 shots, right, so…
Bufkin had at least two steal and dunks on him though.
Good for Mo! He found a good situation
Franz runnin the front office like he’s Lebron.
Mo earned it on his own.
Yeah honestly Mo is absolutely with $8 mil a year
I’d go as far as to say he’s one of the better backup C’s in the league - at least probably the best offensive one, and on a team with so much length all over they can absorb his deficiencies
Glad Moe stuck in Orlando. Good situation and they know how to use him. He’ll practically double his career earnings next year. Happy to see this.
Is it pure coincidence that Orlando has so many of our former players? Like, surely, it can’t be at this point.
Who in the magic is a Michigan alum?
I believe Chaundee is on the Spurs summer league team. Wemby v Brandon Miller tonight.
It sort of beggars belief.
Richard DeVos is obviously from Michigan but no tie to the school.
Jeff Weltman and John Hammond (top two FO guys) have no ties to the state or school.
I was even like “maybe they’re Mark Bartelstein clients” (nope)
The Wagners and Houstan are all rep’d by Jason Glushon?
Castleton is on right now, with the Lakers S.L. team.
Hammond has some connection to the state, as he was an assistant coach and assistant GM with the Pistons for several years.
Nice to see Chaundee playing in summer league for Spurs. Good sequences for him right now.
I missed that he was out there. I set up a recording because of Wemby. Then, when I saw that he wasn’t playing, I watched a couple of minutes of Miller doing nothing and deleted the recording.
Feel for the hornets fans honestly. Most seemed to be against the Miller pick. Hope he turns out to be worth the 2nd pick because my hunch is Scoot will be.
I haven’t cared much about the Charlotte Hornets since Glen Rice was traded for Eddie Jones (who I also liked). Maybe a little interest in the Baron Davis teams.
Great call - Eddie Jones was a fine NBA hooper but he absolutely cooked at Temple! I knew he had a wingman but forgot it was Aaron McKie, another forever pro. Rick Brunson was their PG. just needed a big.
My wife picks Temple to the elite eight year after year to this day bc she loved that era so much. Very random affection for a girl from Petoskey but well chosen, for sure.
And they played the Fab 5 two NCAA tourneys in a row.
BTW- It looks like DJ Wilson is on the Magic’s Summer League squad.
