how is he still playing summer league?
because they’re paying him to be there
sorry for my lack of knowledge i only thought summer league was for 1st and 2nd year nba guys.
Nope. That is the bulk of the makeup but 3rd/4th year guys are out there sometimes (like Livers), as well as guys trying to make (or make it back to) the NBA.
It’s similar to training camp, but without the well-established guys.
Back half of every roster is complete non prospects where the question seems to be “who will show up?”
Chaundee out of nowhere to block Collin Castleton all the feels
And yet Castleton went for 18-8-6.
And 7 fouls!
and no one cares about the fouls in Summer League
With the Hawks extending Dejounte Murray, Kobe is really gonna have to earn it there.
Wouldn’t hate it for his development if he ends up as an asset out the door in a win-now trade by Atlanta.
No guarantee Murray is there for the entirety of the contract. Stop trying to get him out of Atlanta!
Speaking of Kobe in Atlanta, Dylan made an appearance on the Locked on Hawks podcast to talk about him.
The guy that runs the podcast, Brad Rowland, also happens to be a Michigan fan. I have found Brad to be one of the smarter people that covers Atlanta sports.
I have not had a chance to listen yet but will do so soon.
I posted that! But I did it in the wrong thread and immediately realized that but didn’t feel like deleting
