Michigan Players in the NBA

Then I guess the Magic need to get to work on that trade for Duncan Robinson

Moe has played himself into consideration as a bench big and I’m sure will get some looks in free agency. I think his role with the Magic was nice, and playing with Franz was a bonus, so if numbers and guarantees are all the same, I hope he stays with the Magic.

Yeah given the way things went there the past season and a half I’d be really surprised if Mo wasn’t on the team. He has every reason to want to stay (they gave him opportunity three other franchises really didn’t, his brother is there), and he’s a good player for his role who likely won’t command a massive amount of money who can play either big slot.

So do you think the Warriors salary dumped Poole…
…plan to re-sign the guy who punched him…
…but that guy could sign with the Kings…
…whose star player he stomped on.

Not a player, but:

Beilein: It’s closed now. I’m right here. Well, I’m in Florida or up in Petosky. But Ann Arbor will be a place we’ll visit often because my daughter is here with three children.

I’ve seen his place, it’s on Walloon

Pallette Bistro is the spot up that way. Beilein strikes me as more of a Chandler’s guy though and kinda surprised he isn’t up in Harbor Springs with the rest of the snow birds with money.

JE III, regarding Livers’ option being picked up:

Isaiah Livers

Contract status: Club option ($1.8 million)
Odds Livers returns: 100 percent

As I reported Tuesday, the Pistons have picked up the club option of the soon-to-be third-year forward.

Livers, a second-round pick in 2021, hasn’t been able to find a rhythm in his young career because of injuries, but he’s had very solid stretches and has received great support from general manager Troy Weaver and others in Detroit’s organization. The case could be made that Livers is one of the team’s top two or three defenders, and his 3-point shooting makes him a legitimate 3-and-D wing if health starts to turn in his favor.

The Pistons bolstered their wing rotation by drafting Thompson last week, and I expect them to add another wing in free agency. But I still see Livers carving out a role in Monty Williams’ rotation.

Getting a guaranteed 3rd year as a second round pick is great. Very happy for Isaiah

Beautiful. Also concerning that the staff wanted to give Jett the main defensive duties on Bates lol
