I think Lilly Vallimont has been doing well as Michigan Softball’s catcher, but this would be an amazing pull from the portal. Maybe you find another position for Lilly? As it is, it’s a huge loss for the Buckeyes. I would imagine that Jazzy is one of, if not the, top targets in the portal:
For the record, this is just me being a fan. I have no inside info for what (or if) the softball team is doing in the offseason.

I did find that On3 has Michigan ranked #26 overall for softball recruiting classes and that these are our only 3 commits listed. The top 9 recruiting classes are all SEC teams.
If the start of the season ever gets pushed back a month or 6-weeks, I think the program would compete a lot better with all of the southern and western teams. There’s such a built-in advantage that those schools have.
I know Hutch has been pushing for that.
