Women’s volleyball swept MSU today, 3-0, avenging a sweep by the Spartans earlier in the season. M is now 19-8 overall and 9-7 in the B1G.

I went to the Michigan volleyball game @ UW in Seattle last night (Michigan came back to win it in 5 sets after they were down 2 sets). Started talking to a M fan after he gave my daughter a slice of his pizza. It turned out to be Dima, Vlad’s translator. Great guy. He’s working w a Russian player on the UW women’s team.

Their fifth win in a row, and their second reverse sweep of the season. Now pretty much certain to make the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2019.

I’m just finishing dinner at the Gandy Dancer and the UCLA Volleyball team is having dinner here.
