Penn State with great energy early.
no it was offense. TJD dunked and slapped
Getting tight. Looking for the moment Brad Davison swings the game with a flagrant to get PSU across the finish line
We used to slap the backboard alot back in the 90s on layups, not sure why you donāt see it much anymore. But I never saw someone get Tād for it.
How do you not get a shot off?
PSU running the Nebraska last shot offense.
Indiana, please hire Dane Fife. Do not look in the direction of a currently unemployed coach residing in Ann Arbor.
I have a hard time believing that Beilein would take a B1G job and compete against Michigan.
I hear a lot of Beilein to IU speculation- count me in for thinking thereās no way that would happen. Beilein is way too smart to go somewhere where the fans are going to lose their mind if heās not a top ten program in 18 months.
Iām not really commenting on whether he would. But what I do know is that John Beilein is incredibly competitive and wants to compete at the highest level. If Indiana is his best chance for that I think heād consider it.
Agreed. My point is that Indiana is absolutely not his best chance and I think he knows that. Guess weāll see. My prediction is Notre Dame and if not Notre Dame then Boston College.
my prediction is he enjoys retirement and stays retired
Boston College is a terrible job. Not much of an opportunity to compete. Plus IIRC there was a report they reached out to JB and he said no. Or am I making that up?
I donāt think Notre Dame fires Brey.
That leaves Indiana, Iowa State, Minnesota, as the options of programs that have some solid potential.
Depaul maybe? Thatās a bad job though. If Marquette moved on from Wojo that would be a fit.
Geography will be important; heās said so in the past. Thatās a mark for Indiana.
I definitely agree with the geography piece. Notre Dame makes more sense than Indiana in about a million different ways IMO. Keep in mind that Beilein watched Tom Crean get ran out of town ONE YEAR after winning an outright Big Ten title. I could be off base here but I just canāt imagine anyone with options being excited to take that job at this point.
Itāll be hard for Beilein to recruit when you donāt know how long heāll be coaching.
If Notre Dameās job is available, youād think so, for sure.
Beilein took the CAVALIERS JOB (i.e guaranteed failure) I donāt think you can say heās a guy who is worried about failing.
Indiana is the place where itās going to be the easiest for him to win big and he gets to stay in the midwest near his Ann Arbor family. Itād shock me if heād turn down IU.
Indiana is a much better job than either of those. Beilein will only take a job at a school where he has a chance to compete for a national title. Beilein took the Cavs job, I doubt heās worried at all about fan pressure.
Great minds
