I says to myself, I says, “Jacob Young is going to do something silly to end the first half.” Even I didn’t know how right I was
Shot taker, brick layer
Jacob Young should’ve received a flop warning on the drive where he lost the ball and acted like he was fouled. Then should have been T’d on next play for the flop while guarding Durham, instead somehow gets the offensive call…
You’re telling me that’s not exactly what Steve Pikiell drew up?
It’s so weird to hear real crowd noise again.
I thought backboard slap was an auto-tech?
Glad IU’s on the other side of the bracket.
Ya you can really hear the crowd in this game. Sweet sweet music
This is a sad, ugly ending for IU
Same exact box out in the MSU vs Maryland game today was called exactly the opposite way. Same box out - opposite call.
IU is down eight with 55 seconds left: “You’re not yet at the point where you need a 3.”
It’s like announcers get a bonus for saying this.
Why are IU fans booing? Are they booing Archie? The players? The officials? I was away for a half an hour or so.
No field goals in the last almost ten minutes for IU; fans had booed Archie when he was intro’d at the outset.
They missed their final 13 FGs and almost all their FTs…just a hideous end to the season and perhaps Archie’s career
Got it, but they did seem to have some positive enthusiasm earlier while I was watching. I guess fans can turn in a hurry, or well, 13 shots!
Makes me nervous for tomorrow given that Maryland has a game under their belt in this environment.
By Defense? Not if they’re legitimately trying to block a shot. Rarely gets called.
Like I said, they booed Archie roundly in the intros. I think they were making a distinction between the players and their coach. Felt sorry for Archie, though. That’s why he gets paid well, but it can’t feel great.
If IU moves on after this season, Archie will have 10 Million reasons to get over it.
