Just turned it on and this is so true. Very little passing and few screens or sets. Just trying to iso to the rim and getting no separation then force terrible looks with 15 seconds left.
Iāve seen at least two backhanded layup attempts so far. Like right hand over your own head on the left side of the glass. That shot was an instant benching in high school for me
Notre Dame is just unbelievably bad, I donāt understand how the margin isnāt worse.

MSUās defense has looked awesome so far. NDs offense looks equally pathetic though.
On offense MSU has looked solid. Getting to the line and looking good in transition. Theyāve also cut up NDās zone. Still only shooting 41% from the field and 1/9 from 3, around 1 PPP in the half. Their half court offense has been bad and the PG spot continues to be a problem on offense

You have to wonder if Notre Dame will go back to shooting threes. It seems like the inside game is not working of late (especially with the excellent defense of MSU), but they keep trying to get their way inside.
If ND has a shot, they need to get back to what gave them a hot start, right?

Welp MSU just completely overwhelming them now. This game looks to be done
Really feels like a coaching thing for ND. Very little effort to make MSU guard anything slightly complex. A lot of ISO D which MSU is just out-athleting them on.

This actually might be a lesson to not bet on crazy high MSU spreads, haha. Steven is maybe the worst player on a D-1 roster so not gonna handle KenPom time well lmao

That was a crazy end to the VT NOVA game. I donāt like it, but the (imo)bait foul call on the inbounds pick was some big brain coaching. Glad VT ended up pulling it out cause that crap annoyed the hell out of me hahah

Of all the things to criticize Izzo about that might be the worst. Lansing Catholic is like D8. 90% of this message board could beat him 1 on 1. Canāt believe he makes his team practice against him.
