I don’t know how much NBA love he’ll get after this season. If he doesn’t and he decided to transfer he’d be one of the most sought after guys in the country

Hard to be too sad about the upset falling short considering how badly the big ten wants its teams to do well outside of conference. Even if I did find myself rooting for them despite that

Wisconsin finished the season last year winning their last 8 games. Over those 8 games they shot 41% on 3s while their opponents shot 30%. It is tough to beat them when they are hitting because they were amongst the most 3 point heavy teams in the country last season. They can put 5 shooters on the floor with Potter at the 5 and dare you to cover all of them all the time. Meanwhile at the other hand they can still play pretty good defense.
Now if they are not hitting 3s they become a far easier opponent to beat.
Wisconsin also routinely plays lineups where five guys on the floor can shoot. I get that they made a lot of threes last year late in the year, but I think it is probably safe to expect them to make a lot of three this year too.

What I’ve learned from this game:
Having a (questionably listed) 6’7” center who’s also 245 lbs and can’t move seems like a poor strategy to beat Iowa.

We got a double floor slap by MSU while up 13-8 after a moving screen. They proceed to give up a wide open dunk.

Crazy that ND is in this despite the relative shot quality. I feel like they aren’t even trying to get decent looks
