Paging @BigBoutros, we need some reverse jinx magic.
I donât think I can help here. Illinois is cruising
I really thought the score was gonna be a lot worse than 15-10.
Wisconsin needs to crush the defensive boards if theyâre gonna have a chance today.
Itâs just not in me to want to see Wisconsin succeed. Iâm trying.
Iâm not sure Wisconsinâs game plan included Tyler Wahl post-ups.
Badgers are getting good three-point looks but missing them all.
Plus get gifted a cheap flagrant and only make 1 of 3 free throws.
Wisconsin shooting terribly from everywhere, yet still in it.
A reminder as Wisconsin falls behind by double digits in the first half:
Wisconsin against B1G teams that arenât Michigan/Illinois/Ohio State/Iowa: 8-2, average margin of victory 7 points.
Wisconsin against Michigan/Illinois/Ohio State/Iowa: 0-2, average margin of defeat 17.5 points.
What the heck happened to Wisconsinâs offense?
Just terrible shot selection from Wisconsin.
Wisconsin has missed some wide open shots. If they can keep this thing with 5 or 6 at the half despite being 0/7 from 3 at the under 4 theyâre not in that bad of a spot all things considered.
Illinois the more talented squad, playing at home, WI a team with a bit of a confidence deficit.
Why would you include two teams they havenât played in that second group?
Three-point shooting:
Wisconsin: 0/7
Illinois: 2/9
Because itâs the four best teams in the conference who are all top 10 teams according to Kenpom and theyâre playing Illinois right now, and itâs playing out similarly to Ohio State/Michigan results (so far)
It makes no sense to say Wisconsins results against two teams they havenât played.
I really donât understand why Wisconsin is trying to post Micah Potter up against Kofi instead of just pick and popping and having him shoot a bunch of threes. I know he hasnât made them, but thatâs the advantage. Not one-on-one down low.
Pick and pop would make much more sense. Either way Potter has beenâŚnot goodâŚon either end of the floor.
