From my unofficial count, OSU has 6 points from layups or dunks, Wisconsin has 4. Neither team wants to touch the paint most of the time down the court. The difference is Wisconsin is 2-13 from 3 (on a ton of open looks) and OSU is 9-15 from 2, mostly on mid-range jumpers. Neither team is playing good offense, but I do think Wisconsin can come back quickly if they start hitting open jumpers.
With Wisconsin losing right now, would you guys put Michiganās chances of winning at least a share of the B1G at over/under 50%? Seasonās still young but itās fun to project.
Advanced stats have us at 72% to win at least a share as of last night. Not sure how that changes with a Wisconsin loss, but youād think it would only go up.

Also worth noting that the probabilities assume stable rosters, etc. Much more randomness / uncertainty this year than usual.

I so desperately want most of the Wisconsin guys to leave for that reason. Donāt give Gard a lucky out. I want to see a team led by Jonathan Davis and Tyler Wahl

Iām honestly not sure. But even if they were all still around five years from now Iād predict a 10+ loss season lol
Yeah, but just a mid-season version of those fun preseason projections.
If Michiganās o/u on B1G Championships was set to 0.5, Iām not sure many people during preseason would have taken the over, so itās refreshing to see that thatās changed.

For sure, 72% is very high and Iām sure once you factor in the noise it goes down a lot closer to 50%, which would take into account things like the season being cancelled completely, which I still think isnāt completely out of the realm of possibility.
Liddell and Reuvers can hit any jumper as long as their on or inside the line. The second they step outside they magically lose all their powers
UW losing would definitely help us but it still feels dirty to cheer for OSU.
Heāll probably add a few 6th year grad transfers.

Itās funny to see that Davisonās PPG has gone down every single year. I donāt recall ever seeing that occur.
FlopsPG and LegKicksPG have definitely gone up though.
