He legit had 1 second left before he shot… fun game though!!
… M was that one loss till now.
Solid win for Iowa despite Rutgers missing Omoruyi. Fun game too.
THEM WOLVERINES!!! Last year’s 60-52 barn burner
Jason Benetti is just a great play by play man.
I don’t know if he likes Walton or Dakich best as his side kick. Haha
Feels like that result is bad for Michigan but I can’t really say why
In general you want the home team to hold serve when two good teams play. Now Iowa needs to lose a home game to fall back to the rest of the pack in theory.
Big win for Iowa with a lot of tough road games remaining.
4-12 from the FT line is the difference.
If we plan on competing for the regular season title we probably need Iowa/Wisconsin/Illinois picking up losses on the road like this
thanks, I think you guys have hit upon it.
Either way Miles still a millionaire Coming from anyone but Miles that would irritate me but found it funny coming from Miles
The coming Garza vs Dickinson matchup may be the most anticipated in college basketball since Elvin Hayes vs Lew Alcindor
Rutgers shooting 61% at the line is a real problem.
To contextualize that 60.5% number, the notoriously poor 2018 Michigan team was at 66.0%
Glad Benetti is getting the love he deserves.
Dakich can be over the top, but a game like today’s he made better. He had some really good observations and isn’t afraid to call things out like when it became a ref show in the 2nd half. The honesty with the Nebraska conversation was refreshing too. I don’t agree (Love Tim Miles, but he had run its course) with his overall point because you make a Hoiberg for Miles swap at that point but conversation was interesting. Of course he called Juwan an elite coach and was heaping praise on Michigan so that is something too.
Yes. Good point.
I was trying to figure out why Illinois looks way less terrifying to me now than they did early in the season, then Adam Miller bricked an open catch and shoot three and I looked up his last seven games. Points each game: 4, 9, 2, 14, 0, 7, 0. 13 for 48 from the floor (27%). Yuck.
