is the B1G schedule more accommodating to postponements in hoops than it was in FB?
Who are other competitors for freshman of the year?
Iām confused by this. Do one of the programs have COVID issues? Wisconsin is still planning to play Indiana Tuesday. How will rescheduling work?
With such a coy statement from PSU, I suspect the problem is on their team.
Both teams released basically the same statement.
I assume thereās some sort of COVID/contact tracing issue. Based on the timing Iād guess maybe it has to do with Wisconsin because of travel?
First weāve seen in conference play in the Big Ten.
The Big Ten has collapsible byes in the schedule to fit games in that are made for things like this.
Beilein looks very handsome on his TV show
In my opinion itās
- Dickinson (Michigan)
- Curbelo (Illinois)
- Newman (Purdue)
Going into this season, Illinoisā DaāMonte Williams was 33 for 122 from 3āa 27% shooter from distance on a not insignificant sample size. Through the first half today, is is 18-26, or 69%. Reversion to the mean is one thing, but if Williams misses his next 40 3s, he will still have very slightly raised his career percentage. Iām trying to remember anyone who was that bad from 3 on some real volume over three full seasons turn into an absolute knockdown guy as a senior.
Theyāve been playing pretty well anyway. They have enough guard depth that Miller isnāt really a piece they need
Yep. Every time I see him hit a three I laugh. Itās pretty crazy to see him become so good from three. Even if heās not a high volume guy.
Purdue with 12-0 run to start second half and takes a 2 point lead! On a 15-0 run overall
Ok Iāve watched 20 of 23 minutes in this game and apparently in that 3 minute span I missed a 15-0 Purdue run? What happened!
Only thing better than Purdue winning tonight would be Nebraska winning tonight
Kenny Goins???
That happened mid season no less š¤¦š¼
Would be very mad if Aaron Wheeler made 2 3s on 2 attempts against Michigan after the past season and half heās had.
I am a Purdue doubter
I will co-sign on that one
Curbelo is truly a magician.
Well half of Rutgers team might fit that description this year.
Jacob Young - career 27% shooter on 262 attempts is now at 44% on the season
Ron Harper Jr - career 31% shooter on 216 attempts is now at 48% on the season
Montez Mathis - career 27% shooter on 129 attempts is now at 41% on the season
Heck, Paul Mulcahy was 27% last season as a freshman and is at 40% for the season (albeit on only 15 attempts).
