Ah, sorry, misunderstood. I missed the Liddell possible flagrant.
Another good big man matchup coming upā¦Cockburn vs Jackson-Davis!
Iām open to changing my mind, but when they showed the replay, I thought it fell into the dangerous play category. Unless otherwise convinced, I think itās nuts they didnāt go to the monitor.
Holtmann has a good record but I still donāt think heās a great fit for that program. OSUās identity under Matta and OāBrien was to recruit studs and roll out the ball. Holtmann has one class ranked better than 30th and the centerpiece was DJ Carton, whoās already transferred out.
Heās been successful on the court so far but his program doesnāt look like what OSU fans are accustomed to over the past 25 years or so.
Chris Collins is a win or two away from being seen in Evanston clubs wearing full-length fur coats. Theyāll have to have pockets to store his keys to the city.
Was Miller a jumbo guard as a recruit? Somehow I didnāt grasp how thick he is when we were trying to snatch him. I feel like his extra size is both good and bad. Heās a load, but heās also not exactly quicksilver.
I thought same thing watching in real time, but on replay you could see Liddell trying to help Booie near the end of the takedown. Plus, game is basically over and players werenāt hurt seriously. Refs just want to get the ball in play, see the clock go 0.00 and get to the locker room.
Yeah, donāt understand why they didnāt run their normal offense there, although Kopp did have a good look that he missed.
I think he makes it if he has an extra second or two to get one dribble further into that move
Pretty big call, though. Game was far from over. Iāll have to watch it again, but for me, it fell outside the realm of normal foul. It was magnified by the size difference, but thatās the breaks when youāre a big guy yanking on a little guy.
Intriguing - what do they have coming in?
In the next class they have a top-30 SG from LeBronās high school and a wing ranked below Tschetter and thatās it. #42 overall class.
They already have 3 2022 commits but they are all SGs for some reason.
3 SGs and 2 PFs is the ideal lineup.
Insanely ugly start to the IU-Illinois game. Just super sloppy
Michigan tried a version of it last year with 3 PGs and 2 Cs
Cockburn and Jackson-Davis a combined 0-6 to start.
Jerome Hunter sighting on a nice baseline jumper. Coming off the bench, must still be battling injuries
Unfortunately, we didnāt have a good angle to see exactly what Liddell did. But, if he did try to cushion a Buie fall, that could tilt the decision towards a common foul. Game score doesnāt matter, but iām guessing youāre being a little tongue in cheek there. Same with suggesting that the officials just want to get off the floor. Iām sure you donāt really believe that.
I watch these other B1G games and I wonder how Michigan can beat anyone. Just an evil, evil conference from top to bottom this year
Itās very likely Michigan will not have a win over a team with a B1G conference win by the end of 2020
