I agree with all of your points. I’m not sure why any of those were a direct reply to my post, but just so you’re clear, I didn’t tie anyone’s charge of “not the most athletic” to “white”.

Last word on Iowa - I think they’re making a mistake playing Bohannon over the elder McCaffery. I understand the ceiling on Bohannon is theoretically higher but at least McCaffery can set others up and takes care of the ball.

Sorry, was mostly responding to your idea that Iowa couldn’t have such a great offense with guys that were not athletic. The subsequent part was just tying in thoughts from other posts later in the thread.
Iowa does have a great offense and Iowa does lack athleticism.
Rutgers and Illinois already off to a fun start. Good response by Rutgers after falling behind 8-0.
If Jacob Young and Montez Mathis continue to play like this all year Rutgers is going to be really really good.

And this is my seemingly never-ending complaint with ref issues. Less than 24 hours ago these guys were doing a game in South Dakota and we are expecting them to be at their best for this game? Just setting them up for failure…

He was hurt in the first game and didn’t come back until Rutgers game vs Maryland. He’s playing major minutes today and did vs UMD so it seems like Young and Mathis playing well have relegated him to the bench

Boroski, Scirotto, Green, Pfeifer all look like they are in that group of Big Ten exclusive refs. Most guys have only done Big Ten games since MTE season ended as far as I can tell.
