It wasn’t just you. A few others have said he’s not quick enough for a wing so I might be alone on those thoughts. I mean if he was 6-9 I agree he’s a monster.
That said I think he’s a solid athlete and skilled. I picture him as a 3 still. I’d be worried he’d be too small for the 4. Without the athleticism to hide it like Robinson was.
I think hes a perfect 4 here. Lefty and everything.
I guess I’d be worried he can’t match up or rebound.
Everything I’m reading seems to think he’s a combo forward who can play the post. I like his game but I guess I want hunter at the 4 or nance someone with a bit more length and defensive potential. His skill level and body of work seems to be higher though then his counterparts.
Either way the 18 class should be great. I’d be happy with a lot of the kids. Nance, ignas, hunter all are nice. I like Jamal’s game to but I’d hold off on him to let this shake out. Suddenly we have a lot of depth / options. Belein came through.
I like the offer. I’m also looking forward to seeing Ignas after a summer of Camp Sanderson.
Maybe its just me but he does not seem that athletic
Simi plays on the same team as Michigan’s most recent offer, Ignas Brazdeikis.
Big name here is 2018 wing Torrence Watson.
