I guess I should be numb to the kind of stuff being cranked out about Izzo here, but. . . had forgotten that one downside of the tourney is the chance for the commentariat to endlessly regurgitate the same tired cliches.

Yeesh, I guess cleaning and stuff? Suppose we should anticipate these gaps for the rest of the tourney, though I don’t think this App State game had a huge delay.
They did say on the pregame show that there’s basically a 90 minute sanitization period between games. That’ll obviously be less of an issue with more games.

I know I’ve seen video of Dickinson and Davis lifting Smith up to the rim so that he can dunk in like pregame or something. I tried to do a quick search but I think it was during a broadcast.

There’s also the comment he made while he was cutting down the nets after we clinched the outright conference championship (eat it, Illinois) that he’d never been so high compared to the rim.
