I really thought in November this team had that special big game it factor when they obliterated UNC and Nova. Meltdowns in the four biggest games of the season really hurt. I think months from now Iāll look back really fondly on this team but my gosh this is a bitter, painful way for it to end
Yeah Iāve been puzzled how Michigan hasnāt gotten the D rotating much tonightā¦ still canāt really figure out what the game plan was other than crossing your fingers that you make shots
Gonzaga is going to hammer them on the boards. Just shoot and donāt turn it over. Tech is going to have to score and canāt rely on the D.

Last yearās Nova team ripped it up pretty well despite a HORRIBLE shooting night. A good as Techās defense is, itās ultimately a gimmick dependent on the weakness of college guards / wings. Michigan is particularly weak in that department, Beilein couldnāt come up with other ways to take advantage and we got our shit rocked.
The Zags have dudes and pros in spades.
It just hit me this is the last game weāll see Matthews in a Michigan uniform. THANK YOU CHARLES! Going to miss you as a Michigan Wolverine.

Terrific season for the program. 30 wins, a 17-0 start, and a Sweet 16 appearance is a great accomplishment. Top rated KenPom defense. It feels bittersweet to not win any B1G banners, and to bow out of the Dance like this.
Beilein maximized with this roster. It was unfortunate that the team struggled with developing depth, and struggled with shooting compared to past rosters.
Hopefully next season the team is deeper, smarter, and even physically stronger. There is a lot of growth in the skillsets of all these players to be had.
Would love to see Teske become more well rounded with a post game, and an improved 3 point shot. Poole can become more consistent. Simpson can become a better shooter and also run the offense with quicker tempo. If Iggy comes back, he has terrific upside. Now has to become go time for Castleton, Johns, DDJ, NuƱez.
He can but heās definitely gone, which is the right choice given his circumstances.
