Probably doesn’t have the money, and it’s slim pickings for a starting big. I’d be surprised if KBA adds a player in the portal, though I would prefer that she’d be aggressive to find one, but the ship has sailed IMO.

That said, these late posts and that seemingly desperate plea for money earlier this month make me fairly nervous for what it might portend next offseason.

In other WNBA news for former Michigan players, Philea and Hobbs got cut after the first game of preseason.
As of now, only Naz remains as an active WNBA player, and she’s still expected to play a big role for the Atlanta Dream as the 6th (wo)man. Hopefully, we’ll see more Michigan players in the WNBA with Swords and Olsen coming up in two years.
