I have not, but it’s amazing what happens when the players finally get a cut and companies still want to get their same cut. It puts me in a weird tension where I want to support the players in ways that will put money in their pockets from stuff like this, but the cost of doing so is kind of ridiculous. There’s no world in which I’m spending $80 on a hoodie.

Michigan remains one of the schools Brown is most familiar with. She has visited Ann Arbor twice and has built a strong relationship with head coach Kim Barnes Arico, as well as with Barnes Arico’s daughter, who attends Long Island Lutheran.
“I definitely like Michigan a lot,” Brown said. “I like that program and how Coach Kim uses her guards. Last year she let her freshmen come in and make a really big impact. There’s a guard there now that I could learn from for a year and then step into that position.”

Was at our own game, so going to have to watch later and don’t know the context here, but I believe Maddie and Jordan said on their podcast that KBA coaches the defense to not give strongside help.

I found them to be a far cry from the teams we want to beat 
I think an OSU, for example, is a completely different beast. Job done, but I’m nervously awaiting the marquee showdowns.
Texas gave the Vandy men their first loss of the season. Will the Michigan ladies do the same to the Lady Commodores on Monday?

Illinois was 35th on Torvik, I think they’re a pretty clear cut worse than us, but I don’t think OSU is really a different peast either (they’re like 28th, the’y’ve faired worse than us in all common match-ups so far - including UConn and Illinois). I also wasn’t really disappointed in how we played, a 16 point win against a decent team that saw a 3rd quarter run to sniff a 2 possession game is a solid performance.
Vanderbilt is also, per Torvik, over-heated in the polls. That said, the schedule definitely gets tough from here on out. 8 of their final 12 games are against top 20 Torvik teams.
