13 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 dimes for Naz as the Dream take down the Mercury in Phoenix. Atlanta now has tied the Liberty for the 2nd best record in the WNBA. Both Rhyne Howard and BG returned for the Dream (though Howard got 2 techs and was ejected in the 4th) but may have lost Jordin Canada with a knee injury. She had to be carried to the locker room.

She did great this season. Definitely evolved her game to a more perimeter-based one because she’s too small to play the 5.
It’s not an official award, but great recognition nonetheless.

The Fever finish the game on a 7-0 run to win by 2 and take the series over the Dream, 2-1.

well, she did a great job crushing her own value in response to the team being incompetent by declaring there was no way she was going to extend with them due them doing things like “not signing a PG”

Naz Hillmon signed a 3 year, $2,550,000 contract to stay with the Dream, all of it is guaranteed. I can’t find last year’s salary but she initially signed a 3 year rookie deal for just under $300K total. (Source: Sportrak) So this is quite the bump. Go Naz!

She went from barely playing, if any at all, to becoming an indispensable player for the Dream by expanding her game to the perimeter, which was needed since she was an undersized big. This is fantastic for Naz
