Michigan Players in the WNBA

Yes. And her 6’2" listing is probably with shoes on.

Naz only had 2 points on 4 shots last night in the Dream’s win over the Fever but she did chip in with 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and a steal.

The only bummer is Olsen and Swords will be in the '28 draft.

I don’t think them being in a prior draft will be more of a hinderance than otherwise. They have to have a roster and it won’t all be '29 draft picks. If anything probably better since I’m assuming that Olsen and Swords won’t be the #1 pick

Will have to be a tough Sophie’s Choice after Mackenzie Mathurin and Jessica Fields finish 1st and 2nd in NPOTY voting

Probably like 2nd and 3rd, they steal each other’s shine too much to get #1, agreed

They won’t be getting top 3-4 pick because the WNBA team won’t let the expansion team to be in the lottery. That’s why the GS Valkyries got the #5 pick.

Based on 2024 recruiting rankings, Sarah Strong is in line for the #1 overall pick, and she was great last season at UConn. The next few picks are up in the air but Swords is certainly in the running for a top 5 pick.

Naz hit a career-high 4 threes on her way to 16 points in the Dream’s win on Monday.

After a slow start, Naz has become a solid rotation player and is having her best scoring year, despite playing a little less. She’s averaging 7.3 PPG, making her the leading scorer off the bench for Atlanta. She’s also getting 4.8 RPG, 1.9 APG, and hitting 33% from 3 on 3 attempts a game.

The Dream (14-10) will be on NBA TV tomorrow night at 7pm.

The Dream delivered the Lynx their first home lose of the season. Naz played pretty well, hitting an early 3 and a breakaway lay-up off a steal for 5 first quarter points off the bench. She only wound up with 7, not getting many more shots (and one of the attempts was after getting the ball with a second on the shot-clock 22 feet away from the bucket). She also had a late put-back off a teammates’ airball waived off via replay. It was the right call.

Still, 7 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. It was a big win for the Dream, beating the WNBA’s top team on the road and they’re still without Rhyne Howard.

In a early 2028 WNBA mock draft both are listed in the top 10. Olson 6 Swords 10. Blakes #1. A girl from Quinnipiac listed #5. Toronto has to find a way to get Swords.

I’d be surprised if Strong isn’t the #1 pick. Blake is a scorer, but Strong is a better overall player. Barring injury, it’s Strong’s spot to lose

Naz is having her best game of the year, but Bueckers is on fire for Dallas. Good game on ESPN3.

Bueckers with an airball from about 25 feet at the buzzer. Great win!
They’re still without Howard and Griner got ejected in the 3rd quarter.

Naz had 12 points in the 4th and finished with 21 points on 7-9 shooting including 5-7 from 3.
