I wonder if they made an adjustment to his 3pt shooting form and whether that is sustainable for him. I think if he’s an above average shooter it opens up a lot of things for him. We never quite got to see him be a consistent jump shooter - he’s doing well in the NBA right now on that and loved this highlight reel.

Sure…..sample size is too small for any conclusions. And he’s still playing on a horrible team and not quite a full time player. But not sure he ever had a stretch of 44% and 93% with his shooting last year. Especially since the NBA line is further and some of those clips are deep threes.
Just nice to see him have a solid stretch, even if limited. Kobe Bufkin, Caleb Houstan, and Jett Howard and many other former Wolverines have probably never had a stretch like this. Keep it up Danny!

Idk why anyone would think Diabate had a future as a three-point shooter, but a poor man’s Rodman role makes sense. His scoring and rebs are up this year, so he may pan out yet.
Regarding the larger topic, I am watching significantly more Piston games because Duncan and Caris are on the team.

It will always remain hard to comprehend that Caris, Duncan, and Hardaway had significantly better NBA careers than Burke, Stauskas, and McGary. If you would have told me during the Beilein glory years I wouldn’t have believed you.
