Franz is a dawg. Just hit a 3 with 2 seconds left to win the game by one point over the Lakers. He had 37 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds.
Mo has chipped in 19, 4 and 5.

Never understood the league average talk. His 3 pt shooting is inconsistent but heās been good in other areas of his game. Orlando needs to figure out how to maximize Paolo and Franz when Paolo gets back from injuries. Both should be taking the majority of the shots.

Moussa was very impactful in that game with his energy. Out worked both Pistons centers for rebounds. Think heās solidifying his place in the league.

I think heās going to need to do more than rebound well, but having one superlative skill (which it seems offensive rebounding is) is a good start

The past 10-11 games are definitely the best stretch of his career though for sure
I did in the foofaraw over the German Olympic team. Which I still donāt feel bad about. People for some reason think league average is bad and donāt get how the long tail of awful works in pro sports leagues. Meanwhile young guy keeps getting better is about as dog bites man as it gets.
Franzās AST% has nearly doubled from 19% to 33% and heās keeping his league average TS% after increasing his usage from 25% to 30%. Thatās the kind of thing that says āguy experiencing a huge leapā.

I pointed out that Germany was playing awesome in FIBA play because Franz was freaking incredible, and you guys pushed back with about how he was slightly above league average NBA player and wasnāt a star, etc.
Obviously, heās having his best stretch now because heās getting the opportunities with Banchero out, but he was getting the opportunities during FIBA play, and we all had eyes and saw what he was doing.
He has been an incredible substantive basketball player for years if you take the time to watch him. Awesome player.

Yeah, there was a surprising amount of Franz slander on here a while back. Like questioning whether he was a core piece for the Magic kind of slander.
