Michigan Players in the NBA

Hey, if you can rank five defenders worse than him as better than him, why not ten!?

There needs to be a case study how Simpson has managed to stay in the G-League and NBA realm for sooo long. Truly remarkable

Thinking it over, do Nashville and Memphis have a rivalry? They should. But there’s no sport to funnel it through I guess.

That Vandy/Memphis football rivalry never materialized…

X is a good G League player, as he’s kind of shown he has no way of scoring inside the arc in the actual NBA.

Most guys at his level often go to Europe or somewhere at this point, so I think him “lasting” is more a choice he’s making (to be closer to home? to stay proximate to the NBA?) than indicative of quality - France/Italy are probably a similar level of play to G League, arguably more money (there are externatlites for an American beyond play quality that impact that)

One might say he’s doctrinaire about remaining stateside.

i think there is absolutely a rivalry between the two cities, but you’re right, doesn’t really have a sport outlet

Sunday is set to be a very exciting last day of the regular season! Michigan players will not play an especially prominent role :slightly_smiling_face:

Not true!

Mavs (Hardaway) need to win to avoid the play-in
Magic (Franz, Mo, Houstan) are fighting to avoid the play-in, Heat (Duncan) are a long shot to do so but can. Cavs (Levert) can technically get to the 2 seed today with a win (currently 4th)

(I know Jett is on the Magic, I am naming guys that may play)

The Mavs should already have clinched not having to play in the play in game. They sat Luka and Kyrie last night in their loss to the pistons

Many rotation players — which is good — would love to see a good playoff series from a couple of them.

Honestly mostly I just wanted to bring NBA up to top. Very excited for Sunday and the Playoffs. Wish we had a guy on OKC which is the most fascinating team in the playoffs.

Welp, here we go. Robinson has a back injury but hopefully he’ll be able to suit up for the play in game on Wednesday. We also get a treat with Levert and Cleveland facing off against the Wagner brothers from Orlando in a best of 7 series (Cleveland gets home advantage). Out west Tim Hardaway Jr. with Dallas will be facing the Clippers, sadly if his extensive shooting slump continues he probably won’t be getting extended minutes like he was before the February trade deadline. Here’s to hoping a Michigan alum can nab a ring this year!
