Speaking of this news, the Lakers also waived Quinn Cook today. Thereās a pathway to a roster spot and maybe some bench minutesā¦ I would never bet against Zavier ever (Dennis Schroeder and Caruso other PGās on the roster although both are more comboās)
I certainly hope X can stick so I can keep track of my favorite M player from the last 4 yrs.
I think the odds are stacked against him, but I wouldnāt count him out for at least getting a 2-way deal and then dominating fools in the G-league all year and working his way into a bench spot. Still canāt figure out how he shot so well in the G-league campā¦

The Bertans deal is nuts (five years!). There is no question who is preferable between Duncan and Bertans (Duncan is younger, way less injury prone, somehow a better defender).
