Michigan Players in the NBA

Robinson holds a partially guaranteed $1.4 million contract for 2019-20. The two-year deal includes $250,000 guaranteed for next season and that will increase to $1 million if he is not waived by July 15. The rest is guaranteed if Robinson remains on the Heat’s roster after several other dates during the offseason.

I believe this is similar to the deal that Derrick Walton was on last year… he ended up being waved. Basically locks Duncan into Miami’s summer league squad but he will have to perform this July.

I think it’s similar, I don’t recall Walton with the guaranteed $250K because I think he would have stayed just to have a chance at a roster spot. I can’t imagine his euro league contract is more but maybe it is. In a league that covets the three I think Duncan has a chance to stick. We’ll see!

he played all of summer league

Agreed but didn’t have the guarantee that I recall. He was the first two way player in league history and I think went on to the BULLS but was cut. Duncan is in a better position though I thought the same of DWALT at the time. He can run a team that’s for sure.

That kid from Kentucky Tyler Herro looked good as well.

Maybe the Pistons are better situated by that point and this is no longer a concern, but as of now they seem like a poorly run org with no real direction or identity and I don’t want any player I’m invested in signing with them.

What moves have the new regime made that have suggested that? They’ve had limited to no resources and have like 6 rookie contracts on the roster for the future and just drafted a player with a super high ceiling that fits needs so he can grow. Haven’t sacrificed any future flexibility while making minor moves to compete while they’re stuck in the middle with the Drummond and Reggie contracts. SVG isnt running things anymore.

Hard to have a direction when all you can do is to wait until big contracts expire.

Not as if they’re burying kids. Kennard came along nicely in his second year; Brown was given ample opportunity. You want to see that kind of minutes and development from the young players.

I would hope they are using the time to develop their supporting pieces. Who they get in free agency once some salary starts to come off the books will help clarify this team’s direction.

Beilein dropping a little the team, the team, the team at the end of this. His end of practice break sounds familiar too

That is so weird to watch.

Btw, did JB always ask the question about defense or was that only when we had Yak?

Cleveland squad basically college seniors

That was my thought, too. Might take two of our sunnavawathchems to take down that sunnavawatchem, but Green better watch himself!

I promise this is the sauciest I will ever get here, Dylan.
