At this point the Lakers starting 5 is going to be LeBron, Kawhi, Anthony Davis, Stauskas and Glen Robinson III. Let’s go!
That kid from Kentucky Tyler Herro looked good as well.
Maybe the Pistons are better situated by that point and this is no longer a concern, but as of now they seem like a poorly run org with no real direction or identity and I don’t want any player I’m invested in signing with them.
What moves have the new regime made that have suggested that? They’ve had limited to no resources and have like 6 rookie contracts on the roster for the future and just drafted a player with a super high ceiling that fits needs so he can grow. Haven’t sacrificed any future flexibility while making minor moves to compete while they’re stuck in the middle with the Drummond and Reggie contracts. SVG isnt running things anymore.
Hard to have a direction when all you can do is to wait until big contracts expire.
Not as if they’re burying kids. Kennard came along nicely in his second year; Brown was given ample opportunity. You want to see that kind of minutes and development from the young players.
I would hope they are using the time to develop their supporting pieces. Who they get in free agency once some salary starts to come off the books will help clarify this team’s direction.
Beilein dropping a little the team, the team, the team at the end of this. His end of practice break sounds familiar too
That is so weird to watch.
Btw, did JB always ask the question about defense or was that only when we had Yak?
good that Poole will not be bullied by Green.
Cleveland squad basically college seniors
That was my thought, too. Might take two of our sunnavawathchems to take down that sunnavawatchem, but Green better watch himself!
I promise this is the sauciest I will ever get here, Dylan.
All those buckeyes gotta love seeing that lol
Saw a good portion of the GSW vs. LAL game last night. First minute Jordan telegraphed that he was about to jab step and drive to bucket…drove to bucket and pulled straight up into a double-team resulting in a bad shot/block. Deja vu! That said, a few minutes later he had a very sweet dribble drive and unexpected spin move/sweet dish for a dunk that was a highlight. Oh, what might have been! Was fun to watch him.
He certainly has much to learn and areas he can improve on. The difference is he’ll pocket $10-12M during that training exercise. In the end he made the correct decision!
I watched a good chunk of the BKN season last year following Caris, somehow I missed this poster dunk. No friends on the court right
Sorry Dylan, didn’t mean to reply to you, but on second thought these extra notifications can be my payback for the 2/3 times the sirens on your last pod made me think I was getting pulled over.
