lol Oklahoma is salivating at this game but let’s roll! ![]()

Okay. Lock it down, defense!
BALLGAME!!! 12-10 win!
Man it wasn’t pretty but what a gutsy win! Could be a big one for Bonnie. Now just let the dice fall how they will against mighty OU.
Go Blue!
Well that was thrilling!!! ![]()
Not sure what we have left for OU but what a swing to take the lead!
So host Oregon is out and that region is paired with ours. If we do pull the upset tomorrow it will either be Mississippi State or Saint Mary’s next weekend.
Oklahoma is already up 3-0 and Ellis has been pulled after walking the first batter in the 2nd inning. She’s out of gas.
Got em right where we want em ![]()
Well, we got a solo HR from Hoehn and then she pitched our first scoreless defensive inning. 4-1 heading to the bottom of the 3rd.
Michigan is entering the Danger Zone. OU has the bases loaded and one out with the score 6-1.
Now 2 down.
Down 7-1 heading to the bottom of the 5th (we’re the designated “home” team).
Down 8-1 with 3 outs to go. If they don’t have a rally for the ages, they at least didn’t get Run-ruled. I think I heard the broadcasters yesterday say that Oklahoma has won 37 games this year via the Run Rule.
Just pretty thoroughly outclassed. Oh well.
Ground out, soft line out, ground out. Season’s over. Bummer. The goal next year has to be to host a regional.
Appreciate all of your coverage in this thread, @JD1! We all owe you a beer!
Updated baseball tournament projections:
D1Baseball - Last team in
Baseball America - First team out
On3 - First team out
Thanks for summarizing. Going 2-0 (winning Tues & Wed) doesn’t really change things, presumably, other than other teams right on the bubble. But good news is that a this scenario and beating Oregon on Friday night, sounds like this would be good enough. Not expecting it, but would be nice to go 2-0 and get the chance. Going 2-1, then not sure if Oregon would be enough, and if they’d need a win in the semis (that 1 loss would dent their RPI by 6-8 spots). Go Blue!
Baseball started the Big Ten tournament with 10-0 run rule victory over Rutgers. We play tomorrow at 10 PM against the winner of Ohio State/Washington for a spot in the quarterfinals on Friday (lose tomorrow and there is an extra elimination game on Thursday).
