Cursed program, one of the worst curses in sports considering the caliber the program has been. This is like duke going 30 years without a natty.

Denver goalie had 50 saves and completely stole the game. Heartbreaker. That’s kinda just the nature of a single elim hockey tournament though. Ugh…

He’s on an insane run and killed us last night. He has an absurd 95% save percentage and hasn’t lost a game and he was the backup!! It is like if Oscar Goodman started and made 60% of his threes for 15 games.

Softball is closing the regular season at MSU. They’re currently up 5-1 in the bottom of the 5th. Lauren Putz has hit her 20th and 21st HRs of the season. That’s the most for a Wolverine since Sierra Romero hit 22 in 2015. Scrolling through previous years, Romo hit 23 in 2013. The stats go back to 1998 so I’m guessing a program record could be had with a hot weekend and a game or two in the BTT. I don’t think Putz can chase down Romero’s .491 BA (2014) but she was at .454 coming into today’s game and had gone 2 for 3. .460 certainly can be had.
It’s now top 6, and the score is the same.
