Josh Jackson to California

Hopefully this ends all JJ and UM talk.

Saw this elsewhere, yeah hopefully people stop saying “But he’s in our backyard!”

Sorry for my confusion, but isn’t he one of the top prospects in the country? Why do we want the JJ and UM talk to end?

Because it isn’t happening.

To end? It never began…some people on here need a reality check - not every highly recruited player is interested in Michigan and Michigan is not interested in every highly recruited player. And that’s okay.

Yeah there was never any JJ and UM talk… What we want to end is people who continually ask about it as if he is a current recruit

Yup, it’s the same type of issue as with James Young. People would always ask about him and the answer hadn’t changed in a long time. Michigan wasn’t interested, had their reasons (academics, also possibly attitude), and people kept bringing up pursuing him as a possibility.

Some kids just want to get out of town regardless of where they live. You have to respect a kids wishes to leave the nest and find their own identity. It’s part of the natural maturation process for most young people…not just a hoops issue!

Well, there are some things that aren’t being said here. Let’s just say elite recruits come with a price. The last few super elite recruits I remember from Detroit were Webber, Rose and Traylor. Enough said.

Thanks, I didn’t mean to imply that I thought there was any talk, I just had literally no idea what the interest level was.

Thing is I havent heard it ever beginning with any school let alone Michigan. Unless youre in the Know? You Know Nothing.

Kansas or Kentucky.

Regarding Josh Jackson, seems UM has some interest still:

Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Kansas among the schools watching elite 2016 SF Josh Jackson (1 Nation) from Detroit.

Let the record show I was at a HS game of Josh Jackson's, both Beilein and Izzo were present courtside, both had a big league game next day

I don't know everybody's definition of being recruited, but my assumption is both Beilein and Izzo weren't there for fun and enjoyment

Here’s a nice little article about Jackson. My guess is there will always be interest but never an offer. Too many red flags for Coach Beilein.

Perhaps the most shocking transfer thus far has been that of MaxPreps All-American and 247Sports.com's No. 1-ranked rising junior Joshua Jackson. The 6-6 star is leaving a defending state champion in Michigan for unknown start-up Prolific Prep, a new program in Napa Valley, Calif., founded by trainer Jeremy Russotti.

JJ mother is on the take right now. She stated many times that he would never go the prep school route but she was not happy with Consortium. Everyone in the state saw this coming a mile away.

The state of Michigan is full of handlers that want money and they will deliever kids to your high school. This doesn’t just happen with a college choice.

Stay far away. Josh will probably never play a minute of college BB.

Why are you still talking about Josh Jackson?
