I believe itās only on the 24/7 subscriber forum. Brad Stevens, Porter Moser, Lavall Jordan, and Juwan Howard were the only names that he could say were official targets. Some interesting names got thrown out that he couldnāt verify, but Iāll leave it there because paywall ethics and stuff.

The core kinda rotted out with Lavell as an assistant. Amazingly, we actually upgraded with Saddi, Haynes, and Yaklich.
Also so what happens if the new coach doesnāt like some of the roster pieces. Michigan already has two open spots and Eli was rumored to want to leave, but stayed.
Michigan might have a number of spots to fill and it is suddenly mid May when we presumably have a coach.
I would imagine we lose at least 1 guy (recruit or player).
It would awesome if Iggy came back, but that 5% chance probably went to 0 now.
I havenāt seen anyone remotely reputable say that he wanted to leave.

Pretty sure it was heavily hinted at, not sure though. Maybe not though.
Please no Porter Moser, heās been under .500 in the MVC multiple times I donāt think heās even won a conference championship
To put it into perspective though he inherited a pretty bad team and put them on an upward trajectory while his team, 2 years after his arrival, was transitioning into playing in a more competitive Missouri Valley Conference from a less competitive Horizon league.
Conference champions last 2 years.

When I start to feel better about this for a minute I go to Johnās twitter page and look at all of the tributes; itās like poking yourself with a pin when you need to stay up and study for an exam. . . Itās a really misleading headline. Sole source ānewsā where the source said he āshouldā be a top candidate, not that he actually is.
According to Mike DeCourcy of Sporting News, Donovan should be at the top of that list
