It looks like Eli’s mask might hinder his peripheral vision. Does the prosthetic designer of the mask know anything about basketball?
That’s what I was worried about from a picking up on screens on defense stand point with less peripheral vision, really going to be important to communicate loudly in a hostile environment
No idea who designed the mask 
I am guessing that safety comes before basketball when designing it.
I would also guarantee that the people in charge of making masks so that players can be safe while they play basketball know a thing or two about basketball.

I said “bad shot” when he pulled up and then celebrated like it was Michigan hitting a buzzer beater just because we most likely get to watch the start of the game now.
