Game 29: Michigan at Ohio State Open Thread

Rough stretch. I don’t think you can play Castelton in this game.

They don’t do it consistently though, that’s what I’m trying to say. The amount of wide open threes we miss is quite ridiculous.

It’s so typical of Michigan in revenue sports to not not exhibit a high level of urgency and drive.

Yeah, their looks have been worse than ours. They’re just 1. more capable of making shots 2. making shots above their level while we’re making shots below our level.

If we really have to have Casselton play let him get some of those Teske/Davis minutes at the 5. There is zero advantage to Michigan going to him at the 4 in this game. It drives me insane.

I get nervous before every game thinking “oh jeez, which mich team is gonna show up toady? the clean one, that makes shots, and doesnt turn the ball over, or the one that is sloppy and can’t even make layups and free throws?”…sigh

We’re lucky it’s not a lot worse. K. Wesson is not playing well - missed a couple bunnies.

I’m pretty sure Franz wouldn’t have given up two O-rebounds. One possession for Castleton and he does that already.

Is it just me, or do the substitution patterns seem to change every game?

Our looks have been better, other than DDJ they were all wide open. They’ve had a few contested looks go down.

Howard is just flat out horrible on his sub patterns.

More air ballz than made 3s?

That’s not how you evaluate whether a player is good or not…
