Game 21: Michigan State at Michigan Open Thread

Juwan and halftime adjustments are my new favorite duo

The baseline (lead) ref probably saw multiple fouls and decided to see if there was any ā€œsubstantialā€ advantage gained. Post play is the most difficult part of the game for most refs.

For some reason, it is all Michigan tries to do when he’s on the floor.

If they want to take a bunch of other 2s, that’s fine. Just don’t start conceding 3s

It’s senior night… that’s all I got on Austin playing right now.

Meaning you thought a ref was going to call a foul and you think it’s fortunate that Hunter wasn’t in the game to be the one that it’s called on?

Take AD out and put Johns at the 5

Davis with 3 offensive fouls in this game whew!

Probably, but often when your opponent gets shoved to the ground, you meet the substantial advantage bar.

Terrance time?

Nice call, Dylan! #UMHoopstradamous

For what? No.

Why are we insisting on feeding Davis when he’s 12 feet out–he can’t do anythig from there. Too many dribbles to hoop. And we know he can’t kick it out.

Feels like an implicit recognition that he’s a liability in every other aspect of offense / defense
