Former Michigan Players NOT in NBA

Rough landing. I guess he doesn’t get too many opportunities to perfect his dunking craft.

He was push in his lower back. Should have been a foul.

1 career dunk in college!

yes, i will take this tiny window to divert this discussion into a conversation about how good eli brooks was at dunking and how shocked i was every time he threw one down with authority. he was so cool

I was more shocked by how good Stu Douglas was.

Found myself looking up former players’ stats. Surprised to see 29yo Zak Irvin still playing shooting guard in the G League but not shooting any threes.

you and tim hardaway, jr both!

Grand Rapids needed a “high IQ shooter” after Andrew Funk got plucked by the Bulls organization on a 2-way

Jamal talks about AAU.

He’s not wrong.

What he’s describing is hardly unique to AAU or to sports (doesn’t make him wrong). I just got through the city of Chicago high school application process, and let me tell you, whoooo doggy.

But that’s probably a different conversation.

Air Stu was one of my favorite U-M basketball moments. A classic exclamation point on a game where Michigan trucked Tennessee. Also, this wasn’t a dunk that barely made it through the rim. Stu had room to spare.

My favorite player in the Beilein era from a good-dude/underdog point of view.

I would love for X to get picked up on a ten day by some team just so he can have another NBA highlight reel.
