Mr. Big Shot :right_arrow: Mr. Big House

I’ve actually been sort of thinking of this video the last few weeks relating to us, and all the bigs we want to play (all of whom can board like demons), and the questionable shooting.

Basically, how the Rockets (with Steven Adams) create space on the floor despite his inability to shoot by just leveraging the threat of his work on the glass. (he also creates space by being one of the best screen-setters in history, not sure how our guys are at that)

Wow….guys getting arrested for poker games now? Interesting…. In the 1990s they just made you spend two years in the White Sox organization instead of actually going to jail! (I’m joking for all of you MJ fans….mostly….)

guys getting arrested for (rigged) poker games

Rigged poker games that funneled tens of millions of dollars to known crime families seems like a bigger deal than the average Joe Friday night poker game.

Yeah, yeah…..just joking guys. I get that it was a much more significant thing than MJ gambling after every game with his buddies.

Chauncey Billups made over 100 Mil in his career and was making 4-5 as a coach…he must have some MJ level gambling problems if he’s sitting these games with mafia members.

More money you make, the more you can lose gambling.

Once you make that kind of money, you aren’t playing in $50 neighborhood poker games

Splitter to take over for Billups as interim coach.

I wonder how many people working in the FBI bet the under win total for Portland a couple weeks ago.

I’m still in on Kuminga. I think the guy still turns into something legit.

Some people just like danger too imo. Don’t underestimate that and greed. Can’t just be happy living comfortably and being a success, they need that chaos.

Yeah it’s not super likely but I think he still has a chance to be an All Star or perhaps even better. Obviously it’s not gonna happen on the Warriors. Guys that are cromulent at 21 tend to have long careers and pretty good high end outcomes. We’ll see.

At the 1:31 mark of the video he says “It’s not like Chauncey and Pierce don’t know each other.”, and then suspects there was overlap between the two different games.

I’m guessing that he means Paul Pierce.

Nets/Celtics/Grizzlies/Pistons/Warriors/Heat/Bucks and Cavs legend, Damon Jones has also been arrested. He’s alleged to have passed along info on LeBron James’ health when he was an assistant coach on the Cavs.

Ohh Chauncey, did you let Gilbert Arenas snitch on you when he got arrested over the summer for the mafia poker games?

Not sure but Agent 0 strikes me as a guy who would definitely put you in his place to save himself. Maybe I’m way off there

Yeah crazy that the proliferation of online gambling and all the league’s close embrace with them is coinciding with more and more gambling scandals I couldn’t have possibly predicted that

I learned about Chauncey on the draftking prop-bet-palooza channel before the nba tips tonight

but good thing college coaches and players can now bet on pro sports! What could go wrong! (Realize Chauncey is apart from this, Rozier isn’t)
