He’s definitely talented. But we’re also not having difficulty recruiting point guards, either. I think I’d rather have any of the 2016 recruits we’re after. But I am interested to see how Sanders play in college.
Definitely has flash to his game but I like him. Would he be a great fit? I have my doubts. One thing I’m sure of is Sanders can definitely ball. If we struck out on all other options and he ended up here I wouldn’t be overly disappointed based off this footage.
New film from the Top 100 camp. It really seems as if his game has matured into more of a playmaker role. Will always be a scorer first, but it does seem that his floor game has grown based on this film. Again, I know he’s not a crowd favorite around these parts, but that kid is most definitely a top 50 player, no question about it.
New Film from the Reebok Breakout Classic - once again Sanders looks to have improved tremendously as a playmaker, notable improvement from a year ago in that department. I can’t wait to watch this kid in college, he will make coaches regret passing him up based on being a “showoff”. For those that say I want a team full of Petway’s and Sanders’ - my response to that is I want a mixture of skill and athleticism, not just exclusively shooting/skill. I think it would help our team on defense to recruit better athletes. Unlike Petway, Sanders has tremendous skill in addition to freakish athleticism.
