Looking ahead to Wednesday:
I think they just gave him an extension
A sure sign of college hoops season is a coach calling timeout down 4 with 0.2 seconds left in the game.
As someone who was watching that waiting for them to switch to the Michigan game, I really appreciated another 5 minutes of time being spending clearing the court to send Temple to the line with 0.2 seconds left only for their coach to call that TO.
That coach will be upset to learn he will forever be in my five most hated coaches for that stunt.
Lousiville loses another 1 point game at home to a mid major.
#11 Tennessee trailing Colorado (who just lost on the road to Grambling St) by 7 with 8 minutes left. Game is on a âneutralâ court in Nashville
Did we break Rick Barnes?
The same Tennessee team that blew out Gonzaga in that charity game? Clearly Gonzaga is garbage and MSU lost to them. Pathetic from Izzo.
Everyone knows Nashville is halfway between Boulder and Knoxville.
When is the last time that the top two scorers for each team were bench guys?
Colorado had 0 starters in double digits and won. Wild
The early start to the season, once again shows us the fallacy of preseason polls.
Moreso the randomness of the sport, IMO.
The two guys off the bench who led the team in scoring are their regular starters. I assume there was some sort of message sending involved.
Frankie hit some big shots late including a pair of free throws to give ASU the lead but he got stripped on the final possession down by 1.
Great cause but awful scheduling decision by the Pac 12. Those are Q4 games even if you win.
big weekend for the pac 12 hurting its own playoff chances!
On the other hand, CU did win at Tennessee. So maybe Pac12 has also shown some b-ball SOS?
Thatâs why a neutral against Tennessee is good scheduling. Huge upside and no downside. Too bad their Q4 road game at Grambling (no upside, huge downside) will cost them a lot of the NCAA equity from that win.
Then just beat them
