Having teams play at SWAC schools is a cool thing for the sport (even before factoring in the social justice component) but the truth is if you’re the only conference doing it you’re a sucker.
Especially in November when several players don’t really know what they’re doing yet.
Ugh … so true. Wouldn’t it be great if there were some centralized authority with a huge financial stake in college basketball outcomes? Eh … that’ll never happen.
How many times has Michigan broken Rick Barnes? He always bounces back.
Nova down 3 at the half to the #361 (out of 363) teams on KP and BT. Nova is 0-16 from 3 and 6-7 from two, all the makes from Dixon and Longino.
Obviously there’s some bad luck there from 3, but the roster is not that impressive and we know there’s gonna be a drop from Jay Wright. They’ve taken so many 3’s because DSU is zoning and Nova can’t get inside. This team may be really bad this year, and if so it takes a potential good win away from MSU this Friday.
Cam Whitemore will help but not a great team right now.
Boston College is down 58-48 to Maine (#351 KenPom) at the under-8. I swear if they escape again…
Nova and Florida St have me shook right now. A nice reminder it can turn QUICKLY!
If I’m viewing this correctly, it appears Colin Castleton made the first 3-pointer of his college career tonight.
Narrator: They didn’t.
My long (one week) national (northeast) nightmare is over.
Florida down 5 with 53 seconds left at home to FAU. This despite 30 points from Castleton
Florida loses to FAU and FSU is losing to Troy by seven at the half. Seminoles staring 0-3 square in the face.
Mike White may have left Florida but his stench remains
Evidently it also moved northwest to Tallahassee.
Remember when he was going to be our stretch 5
Chris Arcidiacono is freakishly bad but Neptune is treating him like an Eli Brooks who cannot afford to come off the floor. I would tell you to imagine Jace playing 30mpg, but it might actually be worse since Jace has at least demonstrated some physical ability. It’s more like…Ian Burns, I guess.
He “only” started and played 23 minutes tonight…but he recorded 0 stats besides committing 2 fouls.
He has 7 points and 2 assists in 88 total minutes this season.
What did Ian Burns ever do to you to catch such strays?
