IIRC he missed a couple of games last year with a mystery illness. I think it was reported as mono at the time but it didn’t keep him out as long as feared.
Weird to see it indentified as the flu and not the nebulous “non-COVID illness”

I like Demps and Trent Meacham. Rapheal Davis really struggled at first but he’s been getting better. Josh Langford was bad and I haven’t seen him in a while.

If it is true influenza, he very well might still have lingering effects in 10 days (particularly if he wasn’t vaccinated).
He was sick in their last game too so I’m guessing he’ll probably be okay a week and a half from now.
I hope he is tip top perfectly healthy but simply decides he no longer wishes to play basketball

The jerseys are part of adidas’ Honoring Black Excellence (HBE) initiative, celebrating the achievements of Black individuals and Black culture as a whole. HBE pays homage and recognizes individuals who are positively impacting others’ lives within and around their communities.
The special uniform HBE uniforms being worn against the Terrapins come on the heels of the replica 1987 NCAA Championship season design that the Hoosiers wore in January, and the Cream uniform that Coach Mike Woodson’s team wore earlier this month.

Zed Key was trying to go through Kofi’s chest. Would have been an offensive foul against any other defender. It was honestly embarrassing for Key how little it affected kofi.

We really need to beat Illinois this weekend. Otherwise they’re gonna cakewalk to a B1G title with their last couple games.
Assuming Cockburn goes pro (finally), Illinois is losing at least 4 starters, so you have to imagine this year is their best chance at a B1G title and a NCAA tourney run for a few years.
