I’m sure the Archie flop is simply maddening. His Dayton tenure was really impressive.

I am glad that Michigan got a road win against Iowa. It was a comfortable win until it isn’t in the final minutes.

People love counting stats for postseason awards and Hepburn’s stats don’t match up to Diabate or Houstan. I’d be surprised if Hepburn made it over them.

The narrative is Hepburn is the first true frosh pg to start at Wusconsin since Devin Harris. If they won the the conference and with that narrative does that outweigh stats?
Says a lot about expectations and fans.

Probably unrealistic but fans were probably starved to see their teams play in person in this conference for 20 months unless they got some limited seats during the 2021 tournament.
Keegan Murray wasn’t in his top 20. I can get better basketball takes from the town drunks.

BUT CHUCKY HEPBURN IS WISCONSIN’s STARTING POINT GUARD AS A FRESHMAN!!! … while 95.5 ORtg on minuscule 14.3% usage with an 11.6% assist rate in Big Ten games.
I think Hepburn will be really good but his numbers are not All-anything worthy.

Katz doesn’t like Michigan. I’m not saying he hates them but notice his glee when talking about Rutgers and Wisconsin. Heck Revsine said Rutgers lost 2 straight and Katz yelled both on the road. BTN has garbage coverage of the conference when Hummel isn’t talking. They rarely show past big time basketball games between teams. Very few basketball documentaries instead we need a wrestling documentary on the Brand brothers. Be better BTN.

Hepburn will very likely end up a v good player for them but he doesn’t deserve to be all-anything this year. And Katz has him 3rd in his power rankings

Yeah. You can tell he’s likely got the engine, but doesn’t quite know how to drive it at a high level yet. (Or doesn’t quite feel fully comfortable letting her rip yet.)
